Set up your Keleinik

Create your bot

Your Keleinik speaks to you through your own private Telegram bot. You create it in a minute — Telegram has a built-in helper for exactly this.

• i.In Telegram, search for @BotFather (the account with the blue check) and open it.
• ii.Press Start, then send /newbot.
• iii.Name it. BotFather asks for a name — this is the title you'll see at the top of the chat. Something like “Father John's Keleinik” is perfect.
• iv.Pick a username. It must be unique and end in bot, e.g. father_john_keleinik_bot. If it's taken, just try another.
• v.BotFather replies with a token — a long line like 8634192937:AAEd…UYEE. Copy the whole line.

Keep this token private — it is the key to your bot. You send it only to us, and you can reset it anytime in @BotFather.

Find your User ID

This is the number that tells your Keleinik it's really you — so your bot answers you and no one else.

• i.In Telegram, search for @userinfobot and open it.
• ii.Press Start. It replies right away with your Id: — a number like 740976843. Copy that number.

Send them to us

Reply to your welcome email, or write to [email protected], with these two things:

• •the bot token from Step I
• •your User ID from Step II

We create your private Keleinik, connect it to your bot, and lock it to you. When it's ready we'll let you know — then just open your bot, say hello, and begin.
